Focused Acute Medicine Ultrasound (FAMUS) is the point of care ultrasound standard created for Acute Medicine physicians to aid the management of the acutely unwell adult patient.
It is endorsed by the Society for Acute Medicine as one way of achieving the mandatory AIM POCUS competencies.
FUSIC
Focused Ultrasound for Intensive Care (FUSIC®) is the most comprehensive ultrasound training and accreditation pathway in the UK.

BSE Level 1 Library
British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) Level 1 library is an educational case resource which aims to provide a fuller understanding of echocardiography utilised in emergency settings.
Each of the 150 cases includes a focused scan, the Level 1 reporting template and expert feedback to support reflective learning.
NephroPOCUS
The purpose of this website is to advocate for point-of-care ultrasonography (POCUS)-enhanced physical examination and serve as a comprehensive resource for anybody interested in POCUS, particularly pertaining to nephrology practice (NephroPOCUS).

Society for Acute Medicine
The Society for Acute Medicine (SAM) is the national representative body for staff caring for medical patients in the acute hospital setting.
Formed in 2000, SAM was established at a time when the concepts of acute medicine and the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) were in their infancy. Since that time things have moved forward considerably – most hospitals now have an AMU and acute medicine has been approved as a specialty in its own right.
